1st Haircut and our 5th Anniversary!

These are some before and after pictures of Nolan's 1st haircut. It was really getting long! We also celebrated our 5 year Anniversary the 31st of July. Happy Anniversary Sheldon! Love you!

Family and a Birthday Party!

We got to go down to Pratt to visit some family recently. This is Tucker and Nolan with their great grandma Monica.

My oldest sister was also in town and we took a quick shot of six of the 7 (so far- next expected from Janese in December- girl!) cousins! Good looking bunch!
We also celebrated Nolan's 1st Birthday! I can't believe it is here already!

Summer Fun!

Well, it has been quite a while again. Wow the time does fly!! We are staying busy with normal summer activities. Sheldon plays softball, which both of the boys love to go watch and we have been trying to swim some. We went to Indiana to visit my sisters and their families in May. It was our first real family vacation! It was a lot of fun. Tucker is a little fish. We spent most of a week at my parents house visiting with my sister and her husband while they were back and Tucker wore a lifejacket in the pool. He would jump in and swim back to the ladder and get out and do it again. He didn't want help. Now if we just need to teach him how to do that without the lifejacket! Nolan is thinking about walking. We are beginning to talk about his birthday party! He will already be 1 in August! The boys are lots of fun! I am always ready for a nap!! :)

Update

Wow! This is hard to keep up on for me! Well, I just wanted to add a few pictures for family that doesn't get to see the boys much. Nolan is already 6 months old and changing fast!

We decided to try to take a picture of us with the timer on the camera. Doesn't work too well with little kids that don't know where to look, but here we are, one big happy family!

Nolan was in his exersaucer the other day and I saw his head start to bob. I got a little video of him falling asleep. Here is a picture of him out.

We are doing very well. Staying busy with lots of activities. Sheldon passed his Masters test the other day, so that could open doors in the future. He was really excited! Yeah!

What's going on?

Well, this is pretty good. I am going to blog twice in one month! Pretty good for me! Today I am watching Tommy. Jenny had Tucker last week (when I blogged last), and I am watching Tommy today. We traded so we could get caught up on a few things around our houses. Tucker, Tommy and Nolan were all alseep for a little while at the same time. Tucker is now up, and keeping him quiet is very difficult! He is a very energetic little boy! Tommy is asleep on the couch in the living room, so I had the opportunity to catch up a little bit on my friend's blogs and blog myself!

I am looking forward to this weekend. M&Ms retreat at Anita's. I think it will be a lot of fun. I am starting to round things up a little bit. It should be a really good time. We are talking about taking care of yourself as a woman, wife and mother (spiritually, emotionally and physically). I am curious to see how much sleeping goes on. I am really looking forward to it.

It doesn't seem like there is a whole lot going on for us right now, but we stay busy anyway. Sheldon is leading the Financial Peace University class at our church starting next Wednesday and then the church volleyball league is starting and I am planning to play this year.

Well, that's about it for now.

CHRISTMAS!!!

You remember I said this was going to be quick, right?. Well here we go. Of course we put up the tree and Tucker helped with that. It was really neat watching him choose where to put the ornaments. He did hang a few branches with 2 or 3 ornaments, but I left them there. He put them there on purpose and I thought it looked great! We had lots of family gatherings with Christmas and the boys got tons and tons of stuff. The eldest grandchildren (on the my side of the family) got ridable jungle animals. They thought they were pretty cool. I caught a few picture of the boys together that turned out really cute. They don't know what to do without each other. OH, and Nolan rolled over for the first time on January 3rd! Hmmm. I think that is about it. I better get to cleaning! Now that was a quick update!

Busy! Busy!

We have been staying busy with lots of activities. With the holidays and things we were able to see lots of family and spend time doing some fun things with the kids. I decided it would be fun to make sugar cookies as a family. It wasn't quite as fun as you would think with Tucker wanting to just eat the cookie dough, but it was something I will remember! Nolan watched, but he got in on the pictures. Sheldon was taking all of the pictures, but he was helping with the cookies too.
